The Fire Next Time | Short Film (2025)
Directed by Renaldho Pelle
CD's Backstory:
I was looking online for new films to watch, and I came across a compilation of black-centered films to check out. That's when I found this animation, and I got so excited because I realized I hadn't showcased an animation on the blog yet. Visually speaking, I like the art style of the film, along with the color palette that was chosen. This was a very unique style, and I don't see a lot of animation like this. However, I feel the story is just as important to showcase, as it represents our current state of the world. Anyway, I don't mean to ramble. I hope you guys enjoy the film this month!

I made a playlist for anyone who wanted to watch the previous films that were showcased. Check it out if you'd like to binge them!
