Welcome to BSF Monthly! Every month, we find short films made by black creatives and showcase them on the blog. I hope you all enjoy the movie as much as I did! (˶˃ α΅ ˂˶) .α.α
Made In The Sun | Short Film (2023)
Arrick Wilson
CD's Backstory:
To be completely honest? I found this film last year when I first started the blog. When I was looking for short films to watch back in November, I found Arrick Wilson's work. I knew from the first minute that I wanted this film to be featured for Black History Month LMAOOOO. Seriously, I love everything about this film, showing our people having fun, experiencing joy, and being proud of their blackness. I feel like this is something we need to see, especially in times like this, where everything bad is going on in the world. I picked this film to let people know we can still experience joy and happiness, even with everything going on, and also? Always be proud of who you are and don't minimize yourself for anybody. Happy Black History Month!
