CD's Backstory:
I found this film a while ago when I was searching for some short films to watch for later. Also, random, since I started BSF Monthly, I've been getting recommendations for films on my discover page, so that's always great. Anyway, I wanted the theme for this month to be "Weird Black Girl." Growing up as a weird black girl myself, this film spoke to me, even though it was short. I felt the film also went with the album I picked for the month, so that's always great. I wanted to find some representation for the weird black girls, along with acknowledging things that a lot of black women go through, and I felt this was perfect for that. It was a nice watch, and I hope you guys liked the film!
