BOBO BLUES | Short Film (2026)
Myracle/Major Myra
CD's Backstory:
I actually saw this film a few months back and knew I wanted to use it for film of the month, just didn't know when. After listening to Voodoo by D'Angelo (2000) and thinking of the album's themes (black pride, spirituality, and closeness), I immediately thought of this project. I feel a lot of us have stories about salons and connecting with others - uniting - when it comes to our hair. Actually, I think a lot of us can share experiences about connecting in general. I wanted the theme for this month to be pride and unity, and I hope I did well. I'm happy to showcase this film, and I hope you guys enjoyed yourselves!

I made a playlist for anyone who wanted to watch the previous films that were showcased. Check it out if you'd like to binge them!
